What is an Intrastate Move?
An
intrastate move is one that begins and ends within the same state
without crossing state lines. At SeaPort, we have two different types of
intrastate moves, local and long distance. SeaPort’s local moves are
shipments transported 100 miles or less within the state of Oregon and
charged by the hour. SeaPort’s long distance moves are shipments
transported 101 miles or more within the state of Oregon and charged by
the weight. If you are unsure what type of move you have, your
relocation consultant can help with any questions.
